Smile N Snap Photobooth Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (“Agreement”) represent the agreement between Smile N Snap Photobooth (“Provider”) and the Customer (“Hirer”) for the hire of our photo booth services. This Agreement supersedes all previous agreements, written or verbal, between the parties regarding the photo booth hire.
 

1. Hiring and Service

  • Setup and Pack Down: The setup and pack down of the photo booth are included in the quoted price. The time required for delivery, setup, and removal is outside the rental period. Our booth attendants will aim to arrive at least one hour before the event to set up. If an earlier setup time is requested, an idle fee may apply. We will ensure everything runs smoothly with a trained booth attendant present throughout the event.

  • Venue Requirements: The venue must provide a floor space of 2.4m x 2.4m x 2.4m for the booth setup. Additionally, a 240v electrical outlet must be available within 5 meters of the booth location. For outdoor events, specific arrangements must be made with Smile N Snap Photobooth, and the booth must be covered from the elements and placed on a level, concrete-like surface. If this is not provided, services may be halted due to weather conditions, with no refund for early termination.
     

2. Payments

  • Payment Terms: Prices are subject to change. Please refer to your issued invoice for final charges. By making a payment, you agree to the terms and conditions in this contract.

  • Initial Payment: A non-refundable deposit of $350 is required to secure your booking. The outstanding balance must be paid 7 days before the event. Failure to complete payment by 7 days will result in the cancellation of the customer's booking and forfeiture of their initial deposit ($350).

  • Short notice bookings (within 7 days of the event date) must be paid in full at the time of booking and is not non-refundable if the event of cancelled.
     

3. Additional Charges

  • Travel Fee: A travel surcharge applies for events outside a 15km radius of Shepparton VIC 3630. This will be added to your booking quote once the venue location is confirmed.

  • Idle Time: If an earlier setup or waiting period is required, an idle fee of $80 per hour will apply.

  • Upstairs Events: Events located upstairs with no lift access will incur an additional charge of $50.

  • Public Holiday Surcharge: Events held on Victorian public holidays or between December 24th and January 2nd will incur a 10% surcharge.

  • Extension of Booking: If you wish to extend the photo booth rental time, additional charges of $200 per hour will apply, subject to prior approval from Smile N Snap Photobooth.
     

4. Damages

  • Responsibility for Damage: The customer is responsible for any damage to the photo booth, props, or equipment caused by themselves or their guests during the event or idle time.

  • Food & Beverage Restrictions: Food and beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are strictly prohibited inside the photo booth and on the prop table. Props must be returned in the same condition as provided.


5. GST

All packages are exclusive of GST.  
 

6. Cancellation Policy

  • Initial Payment: All initial payments are non-refundable. If the customer cancels within 14 days of the event, the deposit can be transferred to a future booking.

  • Changes to Event: Any changes to the event time, date, or location must be communicated in advance. Smile N Snap Photobooth cannot be held responsible for any delays at the event venue.

  • Early Termination: If the customer chooses to end the service early, no refunds or adjustments will be made.

  • Privacy: Smile N Snap Photobooth will not sell or disclose your personal details to third parties and will take reasonable steps to keep your details confidential.

  • Use of Images: By hiring Smile N Snap Photobooth, the customer grants permission for event images to be used for marketing purposes on our website and social media, unless a request to keep the images private is made prior to the event. We will not use any images deemed inappropriate or potentially harmful.
     

7. Parking

Smile N Snap Photobooth requires parking close to the venue for easy transportation of equipment. The customer agrees to arrange and pay for parking or reimburse Smile N Snap Photobooth for parking expenses after the event.
 

8. Additional Terms

  • Equipment Maintenance: Smile N Snap Photobooth may briefly pause the service (up to 10 minutes) for maintenance, such as replacing printer paper or restarting the system.

  • Misuse of Equipment: We reserve the right to stop the photo booth service if it is being misused in a way that may damage the booth or harm anyone.

  • Intoxicated Guests: Guests who are intoxicated or behaving in a way that could damage the booth may be excluded from using it. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

  • Children’s Supervision: Children are welcome to use the photo booth but must be supervised by an adult at all times. The Hirer will be responsible for any damage caused by children.
     

9. Indemnity

Smile N Snap Photobooth is not liable for any failure to perform under this Agreement due to unforeseen events such as natural disasters, power outages, or acts of terrorism. Additionally, Smile N Snap Photobooth is not responsible for any injuries during the use of the photo booth.

Changes to Terms & Conditions: Any changes to these terms must be agreed upon in writing by Smile N Snap Photobooth.
